DropBox/Google Drive Replacement
We are replacing DropBox/Google Drive storage with Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint. SharePoint will allow ministries to share and manage content quickly. SharePoint is very similar to Google Drive, however, with it we will have much larger storage space which will allow us to combine Dropbox and Google Drive into one location. Prior to us setting up OneDrive and SharePoint you will receive an email from Microsoft with login credentials. We will continue to utilize Google for email and calendars. (Note: Your Microsoft username will be your Compass Email Address).
All new items from the Communications Department will be added to your SharePoint ministry folder. For example, to find your graphics go to you Mac Finder Sidebar and click on “Compass Bible Church” > Ministry Shared Folders > Graphics > *Select Your Ministry*
To add your Tech slides, and other files, go to you Mac Finder Sidebar and click on “Compass Bible Church” > Ministry Shared Folders > 1 Projection > *Select Your Ministry*
Each ministry will have access to each others shared storage. Please be mindful that you are uploading to the correct folders/deleting the correct files.
Each Ministry will also have their own non-shared storage. This storage is a Google Drive replacement. You can upload many different media types and work on files such as Excel andWord and with many contributors at the same time. If you do not have access to your SharePoint Ministry site please fill out a IT request form.
NOTE: To add your ministry SharePoint folder to your Mac computer, click on the “Sync” URL within your SharePoint site and it will automatically add it to your OneDrive App.

OneDrive will be used for your personal storage. Each computer will have 1TB of cloud storage, which will allow you to free up hard drive space. You can find your OneDrive Storage by clicking on the Mac Finder Sidebar > “OneDrive – Compass Bible Church”.
